Kıbrıs Köftesi 3 – Yemek Öğren tarifi

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of ground meat
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 handful of bread crumbs or grated bread
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika
  • Parsley (optional)

For frying:

Preparation:

  1. Place the ground meat in a mixing bowl.
  2. Grate the potatoes and onion in a separate container. Squeeze out the excess liquid from the grated potatoes and onion using your hands, then add them to the meat.
  3. Add the spices (salt, pepper, cumin, paprika), the egg, and finely chopped parsley if you like. If you prefer using grated bread instead, add it now.
  4. Knead all the ingredients thoroughly until you achieve a uniform mixture.
  5. Take portions of the mixture and shape them into meatballs using your palms or hands. You can form them into round or flattened shapes as desired.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan until it is hot. Fry the meatballs in the hot oil on all sides until they are evenly browned.
  7. Once fried, transfer the meatballs onto a plate lined with paper towels to drain the excess oil.

Your meatballs are now ready to serve. Enjoy them with rice, salad, or yogurt. Bon appétit.
