The preparations for winter have begun at a relaxed pace! This amazing sauce isn’t only for winter—it’s a versatile delight perfect for pizza, frying, cooking, and even breakfast! A definite must-try; I’ve tested it and it gets my seal of approval.

  1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and remove their stems. Cut them into four pieces and add them to a pot.
  2. When the tomatoes start boiling and slowly soften, blend them into a smooth puree.
  3. Simmer the tomato puree on the stove for around 50 minutes.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and fill hot, sterilized glass jars immediately. Seal the jars tightly with their lids.
  5. Invert the jars (as shown in the picture) and let them sit for one day. Afterwards, store them in a cool place or in the refrigerator.

Note: Ensure the jar lids are completely dry and wipe the mouths of the jars before sealing. This recipe was prepared in a large pressure cooker and included 4 tablespoons of salt.
